The Medinilla plant is a beautiful flowering plant and is popular for its drooping pink flowers that bloom for an average of 3 to 5 months.
This tropical plant likes a little water once a week (better too little than too much) and spray the leaves every now and then to prevent any dust. The plant likes a light spot, without being in full sun. Also give the plant Orchid food.
The Medinilla flowers from about November to about January/February. When the flowers have finished blooming, you can carefully cut the flowers away, which increases the chance of new flowers.
